Frequently asked questions

How long do we have to confirm our attendance?

Please let us know by August 14, 2026 at the latest — via the website, by phone, or by message — whether you'll be able to celebrate with us. This is a great help for our planning. We're already looking forward to sharing this special day with you!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Of course — if you'd like to bring someone with you, please let us know in advance. We'll do our best to make it work, but due to the venue's capacity we can only confirm this after prior arrangement. Thank you for your understanding!

What is the dress code? Is there a specific color requirement?

Elegant attire. There's no specific color or dress code, so feel free to wear something you feel good in and can comfortably celebrate and dance in all evening.

When should I arrive for the church ceremony?

It's worth arriving at least 10–15 minutes early so you can comfortably take your seats.

How do we get to the reception venue after the church ceremony?

After the church ceremony, you can make your way individually to Park Hill. Free parking is available at the venue for those arriving by car, and the drive between the two locations takes about 10–15 minutes. A limited number of shuttle places will also be available between the church and Park Hill. If you'd like to use this, please let us know when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Where can I park?

Plenty of free parking is available at the venue, so arriving by car is easy. If you'd like to celebrate worry-free, a shuttle also runs between your home and the venue from midnight to 4 a.m. (including outside the Debrecen area!). If you arrive by car but plan to leave it at the venue overnight because of the shuttle, that's fine — the venue will be open the next morning so you can pick it up comfortably.

Is it possible to request meal options for vegetarian, vegan, or guests with food sensitivities?

Yes! Please indicate when you RSVP if you follow a special diet or have a food allergy.

Can I request a song for the evening party?

Of course! If there's a song you'd love to hear at the party, let us know in your RSVP. Our DJ will do their best to play as many requests as possible, so there's a good chance your favourites will make it onto the playlist.

Is there accommodation at the venue?

Yes! A limited number of rooms are available at Park Hill. If you'd like to stay on site, please let us know as soon as possible so we can help with booking.

How should we prepare a gift?

The greatest gift for us is having you celebrate with us! If you'd still like to surprise us with something, we'd be delighted to receive an envelope with your best wishes or a few lottery tickets — a lovely way to contribute to our future together.

Who can I contact if I have questions before the wedding?

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us, our parents, or our siblings — we're happy to help!

Hungarian wedding traditions?

Hungarian weddings are full of joyful traditions, but the most important thing is that everyone has a good time! There will be dinner, plenty of music and dancing, and a few traditional elements — such as the bride's dance, when guests can symbolically "invite" the bride to dance. Don't worry — our master of ceremonies will guide you through every important moment, so just enjoy the celebration and join in!
